And finally I have found these cute fable mitts from Just A Day Dream Arts. It’s always a good idea to have a nice pair of knitted gloves and even better when they are fingerless making using your phone etc still easy to use whilst keeping your fingers warm!

It’s Friday again so I have been on the hunt for my favourite free pattern of the week! Whilst browsing Pinterest I came across this incredibly cute owl pattern by Sarah over at Repeat Crafter Me.

This fab owl hat pattern is suitable from newborn size right up to adults and can be created in whatever colours you fancy; from soft pastel shades right up to multicoloured brights! The pattern has cute button details for the eyes and is finished with tassles on the top, you could even embellish the hats further if you wanted to make them a little bit more individual.

These would be ideal for the coming winter months and very popular for children for when they go back to school. The full free pattern can be found here, where Sarah has posted very good instructions including images to help you create the hat.
